Recommendations for Improving How Prenatal Genetic Testing is Done

From a historic summit of stakeholders come 20 recommendations for improving prenatal genetic testing to avoid bias against those with disabilities.

In the Spring of 2022, the most diverse group of stakeholders convened near Johns Hopkins University to address how prenatal genetic testing’s administration could be improved. Representatives from OB/Gyns, medical geneticists, bioethicists, and a diverse group of disability advocates met to identify, discuss, and then recommend ways to improve its administration.
